“Into the Art World 2.0”
from your first steps in art to your own exhibition
Start 12 June

An artist’s career in contemporary art
You will come to understand the art world and how it works, find your own voice, learn to make work people want, and gain everything you need to enter contemporary art with confidence.

You will get to grips with contemporary art
If you are an academically trained artist, or work in another creative field.

You will stage a solo exhibition
Even if you have never worked in art.

You will sell your work
Many of our students sell work while still on the course.

You will get into galleries
You will put together your documents and learn how to get through an open call.

You will exhibit around the world
What you learn lets you put on exhibitions and work with galleries abroad.
Who the programme suits, and what it opens up
A traditional art education teaches nothing practical about the art market or about getting your work seen. Our programme fills those gaps.
Artists starting out
How to get into the art world, start exhibiting and make yourself known, even with no contacts. You will learn how open calls work, how to put on an exhibition, and how to work with galleries.
Academically trained artists
You will see what to do when you have hit a ceiling and want to move beyond it, understand contemporary art, and charge more for your work.
Designers and illustrators
You will learn how to move from commissions to your own practice, make your place in art, and charge more for your work.
Art managers starting out
You will understand how the art world works, so you can promote artists and build a career in a gallery or museum.
Artists working with interiors
You will learn to make work with more standing — the kind private and public spaces want.
Artists working in craft
If you work in ceramics or textiles, the course will help you move up a level and find both an audience and gallery space.
Course price
Interest-free instalments.
