Pausing your studies

Need a break? Put your studies on hold online, in a couple of clicks. While the hold is on, your access is suspended and the access period is extended by exactly the same number of days, so you don't lose the time you paid for.

1

Open the hold page

Log in to your account and open edu.onstudy.org/zamorozka. There is no need to email anyone or wait for a reply — it is all done online.

2

Choose the length and confirm

Set how long the hold should last (up to 120 days) and confirm it. Requests are approved automatically, so your studies are paused straight away.

  • A hold is available once for the whole of your studies — so choose the length carefully.
  • You can request a hold as long as you have active access to at least one program; your plan makes no difference.
  • While the hold is on, your account is fully closed: programs, materials, tests, exams and the study chat are unavailable.
3

Access resumes automatically

When the hold ends, your access comes back on its own — you don't need to write to anyone or do anything. Your course access has already been extended by the length of the hold, so no days are lost.

  • The school reserves the right to refuse a hold, or to end one early after notifying the student.
  • You can also end a hold early on the same page. That is irreversible, though: you cannot bring the pause back or request a new hold afterwards.
  • Under the terms of our service agreement, materials, options, tests, exams, teachers and the format of support may be changed, extended or replaced unilaterally while your studies are on hold. When you return, the content and format of the program may differ from what they were before.
